Coordinated Support Services for
New Haven Families in Crisis
Partner: Junta for Progressive Action
Project Details
Junta for Progressive Action works to support households in the Latinx community, including undocumented populations who are experiencing hardship. Through their Junta 360 Program, they provide coordinated services to connect families with government, community and philanthropic resources to address critical needs such as food, essential items, housing and energy assistance, as well as pro-bono or low cost legal services. With this grant, Junta could increase the number of families served under the Junta 360 Program, as well as add a critical new service area in Employment Assistance in response to the influx of inquiries for help they continue to receive during the Covid-19 pandemic.
