LISC Connecticut is one of over 35 local programs of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), the nation’s largest community development support organization. To support Connecticut residents struggling with financial insecurity and to prepare for a substantial decrease in state and federal government economic support, 4-CT partnered with LISC to open eight financial opportunity centers that offer clients financial coaching, employment assistance, and benefits assistance in order to help participants get on better financial footing in a long-term sustainable way. These centers will help Connecticut residents find new jobs or better jobs, increase their net income, and improve their credit scores.
