Preventing Homelessness
Partner: The Partnership for Strong Communities
Project Details
The Partnership for Strong Communities plays a vital role in shaping solutions to end homelessness, develop healthy neighborhoods and to create more affordable housing opportunities for workers, young professionals and families. With the help of 4-CT funds the Partnership for Strong Communities helped fund the state’s homelessness shelters (CANs) to contract for social services. This grant was part of a larger state-wide project to identify Connecticut residents in the early stages of losing their housing who are most likely to end up homeless or in shelter.
